‘watch’, a poetryfilm

‘watch’ is a poetryfilm, completed during my current Leverhulme Trust artist residency in the University of Kent’s Academic Primary Care Unit and Canterbury Christ Church University’s England Centre for Practice Development.

Screen Shot for DVD

This short film, a unique and creative collaboration between myself and filmmaker Ewan Golder, uses Super 8 film, poetry, storytelling and photography to slowly reveal the centrality of memory to identity and the impact of dementia on a father/daughter relationship.

With a haunting original soundscape by Lemez Lovas and Moshik Kop, ‘watch’ is a deeply personal and moving film exploring loss, vulnerability, survival and memorialisation.
